Position Details: Technical Lead- IMS

Description:

We are looking for a Lead IMS Engineer with minimum 8-10 years of experience, having at least 3-4 years in IMS domain.

Position: Technical Lead- IMS

• Handling nodes CSCF, UMG, HSS, ATS, MOSFTX3000 and MGW.
• Direct responsibility for completion of technical support deliverables defined in the project plan.
• All end user service creation and migration of subscribers to IMS core of GUJ & MP circle BSNL subscribers.
• Handling 6 member’s team including configuration and alarm monitoring part.
• End-to-End Test and validation support during the following IMS Core network integration phase
• SIP basic calls flow
• Lawful interception and emergency calls
• CENTREX, IP Centrex, FMC, FMT, MMVC etc. VAS service creation and support.
• Participating in technical coordination and project progression follow up.
• Coordinates and meeting with customer for future plans and services.

Patch loading, Subscriber configuration.

• As a part of FM end-to-end responsible for operations and maintenance for On-Line charging under RECC project.
• Providing support to configuration team to deploy several challenging features on client requirement.
• Directly interact with client on activity scheduling, timelines, planning, approvals and action part by other vendor teams and providing complete analyzed RCA on Major issues to client.
• To analyze and troubleshoot Diameter protocol related GSM data call flow based on 3GPP standards.
• Co-ordination with R&D and Care team for different escalations on application related tickets (Resolve tickets) also Co-ordinate with R&D and developers to help on-site development of product.
• Patch loading, Subscriber configuration.
• Ensure that all the Preventive maintenance activity for all the systems are carried out properly on Weekly & Monthly basis.
• Taking trace for debugging any issue in the network.
• New Level opening configuration.
• Traffic rerouting and congestion management & System Backup.
• Taking trace for debugging any issue in the network.
• Monitoring of alarms and initiate measures to clear the alarms.
• Responsibilities of Network Performance improvement, Analysis of Busy hour Switch Reports and trending the improvement of ASR  (Answered Success Rate) and Trunk utilization aiding to network performance.
• Traffic routing and analysis of the error reports and load reports on daily basis.
• Trouble ticket management and follow-ups in case of E1 or Link Problem & escalation.
• Planning the Routing of levels for traffic management in co-ordination with planning team. New Level opening configuration.
• Ensure that all the Preventive maintenance activity for all the systems are carried out properly on Weekly & Monthly basis. Traffic rerouting and congestion management & System Backup.
• Creation, Addition, Modification and deletion of TDM signaling links and link sets (LSL, HSL, ATM) & IP links with other GSM network elements like MSC, GMSC.
• Analysis of various Traces like B-Num trace, calling & called GT based trace, MTP link/link set trace, M3UA link/link set trace etc.
• MTP routing, GT & Routing Table definitions at STP for GT based routing.
• Mobile Number Portability implementation.
• Definitions at STP for all GSM network elements
• Creation, Addition, Modification and deletion of routes& route sets.
• Creation, Addition, Modification and deletion of TDM signaling links and link sets (LSL, HSL, ATM) & IP links and link sets (M3UA, M2PA) between STP & other GSM network elements like MSC, GMSC, IN, HLR, SMSC etc.
• STP Health Checks, Backups
• STP reports: Busy Hour & Peak Hour reports of MTP/M3UA/M2PA links & CPU utilization
• STP Alarm Monitoring via M2000 software & Escalation by Trouble Ticket using putty software (All over India NOC)
• STP hardware & software up gradation
• S13 SW, S14 SW & HW UPGRADATION in BSC during night Activity.
• BSC Rehoming from one MSC/MSS to another MSC/MSS.
• GPRS & EDGE performance analysis & optimization on BTS & GB link level
• Parameter changes due to network retuning activities and to maintain KPI.
• Trouble shooting of faulty units. LAC creation,E1, creation, addition, deletion, CGR creation,GT definition in the MSC.
• Online Support BSS Engineers on the field remotely and Solved BTS, BSC, TCSM Related issues. ET Shifting For MTL and Site Creation, MTL (Signaling Link) Creation and Addition, OML and X-25 Creation & Integrations. TCSM and POOL Creation and Addition.
