RAN Support Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive RAN support engineer to support in the US time zone. The engineer will be responsible for monitoring alarm tickets, executing pre-defined steps to attempt and recover from the alarms, escalation management and SLA/OLA management. The engineer will also be responsible for managing OSS / BSS accounts and ensuring timely document upload / reporting. This role requires good troubleshooting skills, adherence to operational processes, and effective communication with internal teams and other stakeholders
Responsibilities & Qualification
l Ticket Handling and Alarm Management
a. Acknowledge, investigate and resolve trouble tickets within SLA
b. Execute predefined MOPs to resolve alarms and incidents
c. Ensure adherence to operational guidelines and change management policies
d. Validate successful execution and document the outcome of the MOP execution
e. Follow escalation procedures when issues cannot be resolved at the first level
f. Perform root-cause analysis and provide inputs for corrective actions
g. Provide clear and actionable inputs on the tickets at the time of closure to enable further
analysis on corrective / improvement actions
l EMS / OSS / BSS Account Handling
a. Create, Modify, deactivate or reactivate user accounts based on received requests
b. Maintain proper access control and compliance to security policies
c. Support periodic account audits and reviews
l Documentation & Publishing
a. Maintain and publish operational documents
b. Publish Construction Design / Drawing documents based on received requests
c. Ensure version control and accessibility of documents
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
2 to 3 years’ experience in NOC monitoring / Network operations / OSS & BSS support roles
Hands on experience with Ticketing tools such as Remedy / JIRA
Good understanding of network alarms, and monitoring tools
Strong communication skills in verbal and written English
Proficiency in MS Office [Excel, Word, PowerPoint]
Ability to work in US time-zones as required
